Your belief that homosexuality is a sin is just that, your belief. At least not something you should admit to fighting for. The only right they are losing is the ability to oppress others, which does not seem like something worth fighting for. This is hard for some to grasp, apparently, as they see the granting of rights to others as a violation of their own rights. Your religion sets a blueprint for your own life, not the lives of others. The second argument is more complicated, but should be dismissed just as quickly. Those were horrible ideas, so we changed our minds and evolved, becoming a better country because of it. We went a long time not allowing women or African Americans to vote.
